Hi, I’m Kate

(The person behind Wonderlust)

I’ve always been fascinated by creativity — my Mum says all I did as a kid was “cutting and sticking” (and making a mess with purple paint - see photo!). But over the years I’ve come to realise that it’s not solely about making things, it’s also about the way ‘being creative’ can open up new ideas, perspectives and possibilities. I love the freedom of experimenting - of playing - following a thought just to see where it leads, and getting completely absorbed in something for a while.

I created Wonderlust because I believe we all need more opportunities to do that.

Wonderlust is about making space for curiosity, creativity and play. Just like we did as kids.

I have a big love of sharing my passion for creativity with others, and with Wonderlust, I’m able to do just that - creating beautiful, welcoming spaces where anyone can make, explore, experiment and play — just for the sheer joy of it; as valuable alone-time or a social get together with others.

Welcome to Wonderlust. I hope you love it here as much as I do.

Kate
