The Strangest Selfie Competition

We don’t want any bog-standard selfies here! Oh no, we want strange ones - abstract, weird, silly and a bit ‘random’.

Who can produce the best, most unusual, selfie! (No pouting allowed!)

Here’s some pointers to think about:

• Encourage the use of reflections (mirrors, glass, puddles!)

• Think about intersecting with the frame of the photo - can they peek in from the side, or just have their head popping up from below?

• What about the angle? Dare they take one from below (not the most flattering!), but. they could do one from the side, or even from behind (is this still a ‘selfie’?)

• Does all of their face have to be seen?

• What’s in the background? Should it represent ‘them’?

• Can they ‘edit’ it afterwards? Are filters allowed?

Get them to choose a single favourite and then see if you can find an impartial judge (could be you of course)!
