Wordy Challenge

Challenge them to, for example,

‘Write down as many 3-letter words beginning with [insert letter]’

Give a time limit. It’s tougher than you think!

• Or maybe ask them to list as many clothing brands which don’t contain the letter a?

• Or how many animals or food items can they think of which have double letters within them, or only a single vowel etc?

• Or if they have a particular interest, use that as a source of ‘words’ (although be prepared - they probably know more than you do, and you may need to Google a few things! 🤣)
