Spring/Easter
🌷 I’ll start with an obvious one! Spot the baby lambs…. awwww…. But maybe it needs to be a bit more ‘teenager-y’ - how about: Spot the baby lambs who are like moody teenagers - the ones away from their parents, the ones refusing to ‘play’, the ones with a bit of ‘attitude’! I know this is super stereotypical, but it’s said with a smile and might get them interested!
🌷 Take cute pictures of the baby animals and edit them on their phone to make them look evil! 😈🐑🤣
🌷 Doodle some flowers - see if they can fill the page with flowers. Or get them to look at a few flower stems and try to draw the gaps in-between the petals and leaves etc. Draw the bits with ‘nothing’ in, in order to create the shapes of the flowers - it’s often a better way to draw something as when we draw ‘a flower’ our brain automatically thinks it knows what to draw, but actually what we’re seeing is something far different.
🌷 Lie on the grass and gaze up to the sky (better on a nice warm day with no rain!) - looks at the clouds and see if you can ‘see’ anything in them.
🌷 Play chase with the raindrops on a window… you each choose a raindrop and see which gets to the bottom of the window first!
🌷 Go and get drenched. In those April showers, just go outside, lose all your cares, and get wet! Jump in the puddles, splash each other, and have a laugh!
🌷 Draw faces on the eggs in the egg box to surprise the next person who uses them!
